  23.   I already mentioned   this  in the "can   not  get connected   at  33.6K"
  24.   thread. Thanks for all the  input. I did  not realize that tty speed  was
  25.   not same as modem speed.

  27.   I upgraded to a 33.6K  Practical Peripherals modem  and have problem with
  28.   terminal display.  elm,  tin, and other shell programs  refuse to use the
  29.   entire screen when I connect at 38400. I have no problems at all at 19200
  30.   bps. I  have encountered this screen problem  before and I tried to debug
  31.   it by resetting the TERM  (to vt-100 and  vt-pib), cols, rows  variables,
  32.   but  unsuccessfully.  'resize' did  not  help.  Refreshing with Control-l
  33.   does not  help. It seems like a  really simple problem with configuration
  34.   but I just can not figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  36.   Other info: I connect  from an Ultrix 4.4 machine  to a  Solaris machine,
  37.   using an old version of kermit or tip. The modem is Practical Peripherals
  38.   33.6  Mini-Tower. I run  zsh  or tcsh. I  don't  know if getting a  newer
  39.   kermit will help.
